Stephanie Vaquer finally has a reported timetable for her WWE return—and it sounds like fans won’t have to wait much longer.
After weeks of speculation over when La Primera would make her way back to WWE television, WrestleVotes provided the clearest update yet during a Q&A, saying WWE is targeting a return around SummerSlam.
“Likely around SummerSlam, the week before, or at SummerSlam—in that range. The show could definitely use her. That women’s division on Raw is lacking without her. So, looking forward to getting her back around SummerSlam.”
Previous reports suggested she was getting close, with creative pitching ideas for her return before ultimately holding off. At the time, it was noted that Vaquer wasn’t expected to travel and that WWE was still figuring out exactly where she would fit once she was medically cleared.
Now, it appears that wait is almost over. The timing also makes sense. SummerSlam is WWE’s biggest event of the summer, making it the perfect stage to reintroduce the former Women’s World Champion after months on the shelf.
Vaquer has been out of action since suffering a legitimate second-degree AC joint sprain, with WWE writing her off television following a storyline attack on the April 27 episode of RAW. Before the injury, the company had reportedly discussed a feud with Liv Morgan before those plans were put on hold.
For now, nothing is guaranteed, but all signs are pointing toward Stephanie Vaquer making her long-awaited return sometime in the lead-up to SummerSlam—or at the premium live event itself.
Do you think Stephanie Vaquer should return before SummerSlam, or should WWE save her comeback for the biggest stage of the summer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
