WWE NXT stars Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid, who are part of Joe Gacy’s Schism faction, had requested their release recently. That being said, the two weren’t actually granted their release in the end. In fact, the two were recently spotted during the latest NXT Level Up taping.

The Schism members were reportedly granted their WWE NXT releases and fans thought that the former Grizzled Young Veterans would take their skills elsewhere. However, they were not actually granted their release in the end.

The two WWE Superstars not being granted their release was not unexpected considering just how much has been happening with WWE. The company’s recent merger with the UFC will still take time to finalize.

Amid all the reports and rumors about their release request, Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler appeared at a WWE NXT Level Up taping on Tuesday night, accompanying The Schism’s Joe Gacy to the ring for his match against Oro Mensah.

Despite spending more than four years in WWE, the WWE NXT Superstars have yet to be called up to the main roster. We will have to wait and see what will become of the two Superstars, as it is likely they will stick with the company for the foreseeable future.
