WWE’s biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 39, will be here before we know it. April 1st and 2nd are certain to be big days for pro wrestling fans, and they might just see a familiar face once again.

We previously reported that WWE could run an angle during the Hall of Fame ceremony this year. We’ll have to see whether a return goes down, but several possible returns are out there at this point.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter ran through several possible names for surprises during the show of shows. This year’s event could see the return of Matt Riddle, Shinsuke Nakamura, or even Randy Orton for guaranteed pops from the SoFi Stadium crowd.

There are a number of wrestlers who have been off television for injury and other reasons who could return for appearances in some form and get easy pops, including Randy Orton, Matt Riddle, A.J. Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Big E. Orton is confirmed as going to be there.

WrestleMania will be a huge show with a lot of surprises. Every year has a new batch of conversations that are sparked from the grandest stage of them all, and this year will likely be no different. After all, WWE has a few big names that they could surprise us with.

While it might not be a good idea to expect Kofi Kingston back, since he just had ankle surgery, other names are possible. AJ Styles might also be asking lot, because he is still recovering from his own ankle injury. Then again, the fact that Randy Orton will be at the show of shows is a very good sign for fans of The Viper. Big E could also show up for the big event.

What’s your take on WrestleMania 39 so far? Which big surprises are you expecting? Sound off in the comments!
