WWE is going through a lot right now, both behind the scenes, and on television. This is also a very important time for the company, because they are preparing for a sale. The fact that WrestleMania is coming up also plays into things.

Ringside News reached out to inquire about how WrestleMania’s preparations are going. We were told by one tenured source on the creative team that, “It’s been pretty crazy here the past few weeks, especially with everyone in confusion about how few staff is being brought to LA for Mania.”

It seems that WWE is making a lot of cuts, even where it comes to spending on staff. We were additionally told that, “a lot of people won’t be making the trip. More ‘not’ than ‘are.'” It was made especially clear that there are a lot more people who are not going to SoFi Stadium for WrestleMania 39.

We were told by a source that the reason for these travel cuts is that the company is “prepping for a sale.” WWE is “examining costs across the board,” in every imaginable aspect.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
