Jerry Lawler suffered a stroke and many fans were worried about his condition. We have received a few updates since that news broke, and now we have another close friend of Lawler’s speaking out after he spoke to him.

Jerry Lawler suffered a stroke at his home in Fort Myers, Florida, and he was taken to a hospital for surgery. He is currently recovering, and the latest report was that his speech is still affected. He has regained feeling on the right side of his body, which is a good sign.

Jim Ross tweeted out to say that he spoke with Jerry Lawler. Their conversation was apparently a brief one, but he provided an update on the WWE Hall of Famer’s condition.

I spoke very briefly with ⁦@JerryLawler⁩ tonight. He’s obviously weak but I could understand his affected speech. Jerry’s prognosis is positive but he needs all our thoughts and prayers. #LoveYaKing

This is not Jerry Lawler’s first stroke, because he also suffered one in March 2018. He also famously had a massive heart attack while he did WWE RAW commentary in September 2012. He was thankfully able to make a full recovery from both of those episodes.

We are sending out our best to Jerry Lawler during this difficult time. Hopefully, he will recover very soon and speedily. There are certainly a ton of people pulling for him to get through this unfortunate incident.

This is a concerning situation, but Jerry Lawler is obviously a fighter. We will continue monitoring this ongoing story here at Ringside News.
