Mandy Rose was NXT’s top performer and Women’s Champion, with a title reign surpassing 400 days. Things came crumbling down for Rose after she lost her title to Roxanne Perez back in December last year. The reason for her firing was seen as absurd, and many fans called out the company’s double-standard. It also seems that they didn’t warn her before making such a big decision to let her go.

Mandy Rose was let go from her WWE contract due to content she posted behind her premium content paywall. It was reported that Mandy Rose was not even given an opportunity to take down her premium content before her WWE release.

That being said, Mandy Rose managed to make $1 million from FanTime last year and fans were really happy for her. However, more details regarding her release have been revealed.

While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Mandy Rose talked about her release from WWE. Rose revealed that WWE released her despite her complying with the company over her subscription service. She was only told to remove a link, and she did. That was obviously too little too late.

“No one brought [the concern of her FanTime content] to my attention besides the night before I lost the title. It was from my lawyer, and it was just saying, ‘take this link down.’ [The request] came from WWE, from legal. It was just saying ‘take the link down.’ So, I complied, obviously, it came from work. Took the link down right away, that night.

The next day is when I lost the title and got fired the following day. I never had a warning, I know there is a lot of news out there that says I was warned. I never did, but it could have been different, for sure.”

Mandy Rose also feels bad for Roxanne Perez for how she won the NXT Women’s Championship. We will have to wait and see what the future holds for the former WWE Superstar.
