Mandy Rose dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez in shocking turn of events this week. Later, it was reported that Mandy Rose was released from her WWE contract due to content she posted on her Fantime page.

Dave Meltzer stated on the Wrestling Observer Radio that the decision to have Mandy Rose lose her title was rushed one by Shawn Michaels as soon as he found out what type of content she had been posting online. WWE also removed Mandy Rose from their social media banner following her release.

It now looks like WWE has finally confirmed Mandy Rose’s departure from the company by removing Mandy Rose’s image from the WWE roster page. The graphics advertising NXT on the site which had Mandy Rose have since been replaced by Roxanne Perez.

Mandy Rose dropping the title is a real shame considering she was just a couple of days away from becoming the second-longest-reigning NXT Women’s Champion in history.
