Sami Zayn has this unique ability to pull off any gimmick given to him. The former Intercontinental Champion is now one of the top stars on the WWE roster. In fact, some fans and wrestlers believe that the Honorary Uce should dethrone Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39.

Sami Zayn is, perhaps, doing the best work of his work. His involvement with The Bloodline has been nothing but gold. WWE never planned on making Sami top star with the storyline, but fan reaction prompted them to extend and ultimately make the Honorary Uce a beloved babyface.

Roman Reigns found Sami Zayn not guilty during huge trial this past Monday on RAW is XXX. The Honorary Uce once again proved his worth to The Tribal Chief by helping Jey Uso retain the RAW Tag Team Championship against The Judgment Day.

Despite Sami’s current placement on the roster, he’s not seen as the face of the company by Vince McMahon and Triple H. Dave Meltzer discussed Sami’s current position during the latest edition of  Wrestling Observer Radio, noting that the Honorary Uce might win the top title, but even that won’t make him the face of the company.

“Sami’s not gonna be that guy but yea Sami can win the championship. At this point, I would kind of go in that direction where he would win the championship. But as far as making him the face of the company, can they do that? They won’t. I’ve been absolutely told [that] Vince McMahon and Paul Levesque do not see him as the face of the company. That doesn’t mean he’s not gonna win the Rumble. It doesn’t mean he’s gonna be in the Rumble. I don’t know what’s gonna happen tomorrow. He basically said the same thing, it’s not gonna happen.”

Elsewhere during the show, Meltzer said WWE could make Sami Zayn champion similar to how they did with Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35. Sami Zayn has definitely huge support from the WWE Universe. It remains to be see if WWE will make him a world champion somewhere down the line.
