Sami Zayn undoubtedly has the golden touch regarding any gimmick given to him in WWE. Zayn has managed to elevate himself with every gimmick given to him, especially his current on Friday Night Smackdown. In fact, WWE didn’t even plan on making Sami Zayn a superstar during the bloodline storyline.

Sami Zayn’s storyline with The Bloodline started several months ago, and it became one of the most intricate storylines in years. In fact, even Jim Cornette gave Zayn ton of props, which Zayn didn’t expect whatsoever.

They were featured on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, where a trial for Sami Zayn was booked. In fact, Sami Zayn was ultimately deemed as not guilty in the segment.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about WWE’s booking of Sami Zayn. Meltzer noted that WWE never planned on making Sami Zayn a superstar during the Bloodline Storyline.

They kept going with it. They did something for three weeks, it kept working. They extended it, it was working. It was handed to them, it was not their plan. It was not the original plan for Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn at WrestleMania. The plan was not Sami Zayn becomes a superstar. They saw that it clicked and decoded let’s go with it, let’s make him a star this season.

Sami Zayn’s star has certainly shot through the sky in this storyline. Even Saudi Arabian fans chanted for him before the Crown Jewel event, show Zayn was not allowed to attend due to Saudi Arabia’s relationship with Syria.

We will have to wait and see what will become of Sami Zayn in the coming weeks. After all, Sami Zayn is definitely one of the most over superstars in the company right now.
