Jay Briscoe passed away in car accident on Tuesday evening. The tag team icon entertained an entire generation of fans and aspiring wrestlers with his incredible promos and in-ring skills.
The pro wrestling world united to pay its tribute to Jay Briscoe in the wake of his untimely passing. Vic Joseph of NXT announced the terrible news during their live broadcast tonight.
Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative and two-time WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels extended his condolences to the Briscoe family as well. Check out his tweet here:

Jay Briscoe died in a fatal car collision in Laurel on Tuesday evening, according to Delaware State Police. The department didn’t reveal any names at the time of the report. AEW and ROH paid tribute to the star in the wake of his death.
