The pro wrestling world mourned the passing of Brodie Lee on December 26, 2020. The 41-year-old was one of the highlights of WWE and AEW. Tonight, WWE remembered the late wrestler on his birthday.

Michael Cole kicked off the December 16, 2022 edition of Friday Night SmackDown with a tribute to Brodie Lee. Cole uttered a catchphrase popularized by the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.

“It’s Friday and you know what that means.”

WWE posted a tribute to Lee on their social media as well. Lee had a solid stint in WWE. The former Luke Harper made his main roster debut as a member of The Wyatt Family in 2013.

He would end up signing with AEW in 2020, when he was revealed as the leader of The Dark Order. He feuded with Cody Rhodes over the TNT Championship. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more.
