Mandy Rose had one of the most successful runs in the history of WWE NXT. From a mid-card attraction to becoming one of the longest-reigning NXT Women’s champions in history, Mandy certainly has come a long way. Her hard work and dedication were well-appreciated by the fans following her big title loss.

Mandy Rose was scheduled to battle Roxanna Perez at NXT: New Year’s Evil. Roxanne earned the opportunity by winning the first-ever Iron Survivor Challenge this past weekend at NXT Deadline. However, a heated exchange between the two competitors on the December 13th episode of NXT prompted Perez to challenge Rose for the title the very same night, which she accepted.

Roxanna Perez shocked the world by connecting the Pop Rocks and dethroning Mandy Rose to win her first-ever NXT Women’s championship. In the process, Perez also put an exclamation point on the dominant run of Rose as champion. A loud ‘Thank You Mandy’ chant erupted from the fans at Capitol Wrestling Center as the Toxic Attraction leader exited the arena as a proud competitor. The video was posted by a fan in attendance on Twitter.

“Thank you @WWE_MandyRose #wwenxt.”
