Cora Jade Is Sick Over Roxanne Perez’s WWE NXT Women’s Title Win

Cora Jade was the breakout star on NXT 2.0 until Roxanne Perez made her debut in the brand. Earlier this year, Perez won the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament and challenged Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Title, but lost the match after Cora Jade turned on her. Fast-forward a few months, Perez finally beat Mandy Rose for the title. Unsurprisingly, Cora Jade wasn’t very happy about her huge win.

Roxanne Perez got a shot at Mandy Rose’s title after winning the Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline. She immediately got the title shot on this week’s episode of NXT.

Perez put on the performance of her career and truly showed the world what she was made of. In the end, Perez toppled Mandy Rose and became the NXT Women’s Champion.

Perez’s former best friend Cora Jade took to Twitter and commented on Roxanne Perez becoming the new champion. Jade made it clear she was feeling nauseous because of Perez’s win.

WWE even acknowledged Roxanne Perez’s ROH history. Now it remains to be seen how WWE will book Roxanne Perez as the NXT Women’s Champion in the coming weeks. Fans are certainly very happy for the young star.
