A WWE wrestler apparently decided there was no better person to help him get onto Raya than a woman he used to hook up with — and she found the whole thing way too ridiculous not to share.
Influencer Meredith Harris, known online as @noyeahobviously, took to X on September 22 and revealed that a professional wrestler from her past had suddenly popped back into her life in one of the most Los Angeles ways possible. No late-night text. No awkward “how have you been?” Instead, she says he listed her as a referral while trying to get onto the exclusive dating app Raya. Harris summed up the situation perfectly.
“Professional wrestler I used to hook up with just listed me as a referral so he could get on Raya. Never change, Los Angeles.”
Naturally, that immediately left wrestling fans with one question — who the hell is it? Harris started responding to people in the replies, and that’s when things got a little more interesting. She revealed that the mystery wrestler currently works for WWE, instantly shrinking the pool of possible suspects while also making it clear she wasn’t about to blow up the guy’s spot by dropping his name. Despite fans trying to get the identity out of her, Harris refused to say which WWE talent she was talking about.
So, for now, wrestling fans are left with one hell of a mystery: a WWE star, an old hookup, an invite-only dating app, and apparently enough confidence to use that former fling as a reference. Whoever the wrestler is, asking someone you used to hook up with to help punch your ticket onto Raya is certainly one way to make sure you’re remembered.
