Roxanne Perez impressed fans and peers alike with her incredible talent. The prodigy got the attention of WWE and ended up signing with NXT in 2022. Tonight, she made history by becoming the first woman to dethrone Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Roxanne Perez finally put an end to Mandy Rose’s historic NXT Women’s Championship reign in the main event of NXT this week. The breakout star defeated the Toxic Attraction mainstay with a Pop Rox for the win.

WWE acknowledged Roxanne Perez’s history with Ring of Honor by having Booker T namedrop the promotion as well. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer brought up Perez’s past as the first-ever ROH Women’s World Champion

For those not in the know, Perez was signed to ROH under the ring name Rok-C from 2021-22. She defeated Miranda Alize to become the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion at the Death Before Dishonor XVIII pay-per-view event.

It remains to be seen how Shawn Michaels will book Roxanne Perez’s first-ever title reign in NXT. She is certainly one of the most talented performers on the roster. Check out her big win here:
