WWE changed a lot since Triple H took control of the company’s creative direction. Fans have already seen several released Superstars make their returns, but they’re not willing to give everyone a second look.

Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that WWE is looking for returning Superstars who meet a couple pieces of criteria. It was explained to us that, “if you’re really talented and have little to no controversies that can hurt the company, you’re on the new regime’s radar.”

WWE doesn’t want to sign a Superstar who already has a controversial past. That being said, it’s not hard to figure out people that WWE isn’t looking to bring back. Alberto Del Rio, Velveteen Dream, and Ryback come to mind as people that WWE wouldn’t look at regarding a return. We were also able to confirm that there has been no interest in bringing back Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

Ringside News exclusively confirmed that Chelsea Green is on her way back to WWE. Matt Cardona is also on WWE’s radar. It also wouldn’t surprise anyone in WWE to see Bronson Reed’s return.

Only time will tell what the WWE roster will look like in a year from now. Obviously, they are looking to beef up their locker room with exceptional talent, but they’re not willing to make exceptions if someone has a controversial past.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
