WWE brought back a slew of released Superstars in recent months, invigorating their roster in the process. We previously confirmed that Chelsea Green is on her way back, but it wouldn’t surprise those backstage if another big name returns as well.

A tenured member of the WWE creative team told Ringside News that they would “bet Bronson Reed is back” before other former Superstars. The fact is that “Bronson Reed was well liked” and there is a feeling that he will be back.

That being said, there is no guarantee that Bronson Reed will be back. His name hasn’t come up in any creative sessions that we have heard. Triple H does things different from Vince McMahon did regarding how talent is brought in, because The Game will arrange everything beforehand and then present it to the team.

In December 2021, Bronson Reed, now known as JONAH outside WWE, appeared on Wrestling Observer Live, where he opened up about his NJPW deal at the time. Unless things have changed for him, his agreement with NJPW is non-exclusive.

Yeah, so I have an agreement with New Japan but also, it is non-exclusive so that’s what’s abled me to open up the door to IMPACT Wrestling as well and I’m gonna hopefully be doing more stuff with them. I made quite, you know, pun intended, the IMPACT when I attacked Josh Alexander and I wanna continue to do that wherever I go, you know? I think what you were saying, it was a very big head scratcher when I was let go [from WWE]. I too — the way I feel, I had not even peaked in my WWE career, nowhere near it. So now I’m going to peak and put on these performances that people are going to remember elsewhere.

JONAH wrapped up his time with Impact Wrestling after their Rebellion pay-per-view in April. Since then, he has only worked for NJPW and a few select indie dates.

Triple H brought back a lot of incredibly gifted performers that his father-in-law decided to fire for one reason or another. Now, The Game has an opportunity to stack his roster the way he envisions it, and that could very well include a comeback for Bronson Reed.

What’s your take on this situation with Bronson Reed? Sound off in the comments!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
