Tessa Blanchard was the first-ever women’s World Champion in Impact Wrestling after she beat Sami Callihan back in 2020. Controversy exploded surrounding Blanchard around that time, and it only got worse from there.

Tessa Blanchard was previously deemed to be “nuclear” after numerous stories of backstage abuse. She started working in WOW Women of Wrestling, but even there, she had huge fallout. It was believed that she had burned bridges with the promotion as well.

As previously reported, Tessa Blanchard was also released by WOW Women of Wrestling. While speaking during a digital fan signing for RDP promotions, Tessa Blanchard hinted at facing Sasha Banks in the future.

“You know, her [Sasha Banks] and I trained together a few times in San Antonio when they came to visit; her and Kalisto, and her and I have really good in-ring chemistry. Same with Bayley. Super fun training sessions. So, maybe one day.”

We will have to wait and see what the future has in store for Tessa Blanchard. Perhaps we might just see Blanchard and Banks duke it out in the future.
