Cody Rhodes Picked As ‘One Of The Only’ Stars Who Can Dethrone Roman Reigns

Cody Rhodes became one of the highlights of Monday Night RAW after returning to WWE at WrestleMania 38. He went on to have terrific matches with Seth Rollins and instantly became a huge deal. However, an injury put him on the shelf during that memorable return run. A certain NXT star also believes Rhodes has what it takes to beat Roman Reigns.

The American Nightmare had all the momentum in the world since his return, but he has not been seen on WWE television since Hell In A Cell due to a torn pectoral muscle. Cody Rhodes underwent surgery for the same and will be out of action for a long time, with a return hopeful for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Many fans have been wondering if Rhodes will return to face Roman Reigns or not. While speaking to Wrestling the Rap Game Podcast, Odyssey Jones stated that he believes Cody Rhodes is one of the only stars who can beat Roman Reigns.

I feel like right now, Cody [Rhodes] is one of the only people that’s kind of built to beat Roman, so that would kind of be cool.

Rhodes is also healing faster than expected. Cody Rhodes hinted at making his return during the Royal Rumble match next year. We’ll have to see if he will return to beat Roman Reigns or not.
