Tessa Blanchard was the first-ever women’s World Champion in Impact Wrestling after she beat Sami Callihan back in 2020. Controversy exploded surrounding Blanchard around that time, and it only got worse from there.

Tessa Blanchard was previously deemed to be “nuclear” after numerous stories of backstage abuse. She started working in WOW Women of Wrestling, but even there, she had huge fallout. It was believed that she had burned bridges with the promotion as well.

As previously reported, Tessa Blanchard was also released by WOW Women of Wrestling. While speaking to Bill Apter, Tessa Blanchard revealed that she wants to prioritize her happiness in future bookings.

“I kind of do that on purpose. I like to keep some things for me, some things for my family. Right now, I’m in school, which is my main focus. That’s my main focus right now. I try to do one or two of the wrestling get-togethers or matches a month. Honestly, not too much more than that at the moment.

Doing whatever makes me feel happy. That’s really my main focus right now. My happiness. I don’t want to compromise my happiness for anything. Not for money, not for popularity, not for followers, not for any of that.”

We will have to wait and see what the future has in store for Tessa Blanchard. Being as nuclear as she is, Blanchard might have a hard time finding a home.
