Grapsody’s Will Washingston learned a couple of those absences that led to big changes on the show. Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Swerve Strickland was scheduled to be at the show, but couldn’t travel to the event. His tag team partner Keith Lee was solo, working in a backstage segment with The Acclaimed.

Another name that was scheduled for the show, who couldn’t make it was Samoa Joe. On an ROH-heavy show from Philadelphia, the ROH TV Champion was slated to be at the event. We’ll have more on these absences and how they affected the show on Day After Dynamite, on Thursday.

WWE postponed NXT live events due to the hurricane as well. The Southeastern United States will continue to see strong winds and rain over the weekend. Ringside News will continue to update our readers on the situation.
