WWE brought NXT back on the road after over a year cooped up due to the pandemic. Now, Mother Nature has other plans.

The WWE NXT live events that were supposed to take place this weekend have been postponed because Hurricane Ian ordered a widespread evacuation of Florida. The performance that was originally scheduled for Friday at the University Area Community Complex in Tampa, Florida, got moved to Saturday, December 17th.

The event scheduled for Saturday at the Dade City Armory in Dade City, Florida got rescheduled for Friday, November 11th. Tickets bought in the past will still be valid on the new dates.

Today, Hurricane Ian reached Cuba and intensified into a Category 4 hurricane. The Southeastern United States will continue to see strong winds and rain over the weekend when it makes landfall in the Sunshine State on Wednesday. Around 2.5 million Floridians are required to evacuate as a result of the State of Emergency that has been issued there.
