WWE has worked in deep and tough situations. Whether it be the 9/11 attacks or the pandemic, the show has never stopped in the wrestling juggernaut.

It looks like things may change today as PW Insider reports that the facility will be closed for today. Hurricane Ian made landfall at 3:05 P.M. ET on Florida’s West Coast. It is a category 4 storm. WWE superstars such as Natalya have had concerns over the hurricane and its after-effects.

According to poweroutage.us, there will be around 800,000 people without electricity in Collier, Charlotte, Lee, Sarasota, Manatee, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties.

The website has also reported of Tornado warnings, flood warnings, and extreme wind warnings, and Orlando Sentinel may experience a Category 5 storm with winds as high as 155 mph.

WWE did the right thing by keeping its doors closed for the day as the storm storms the area and impacts lives across the counties. It would be interesting to see what happens next and will WWE open the gates of the performance center tomorrow. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more update on the situation.
