How WWE Covered For Candice LeRae’s RAW Debut Backstage

Gargano’s wife, Candice LeRae’s contract, was set to expire in the middle of this year. That is what happened in the end, as Candice LeRae officially became free agent back in May of this year.

Fans continued to wonder where Candice LeRae was going to go next. After her husband Johnny Gargano returned to WWE, fans wanted her to return as well.

That is exactly what happened as she returned to WWE on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. She defeated Nikki A.S.H. in her return match. According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Doudrop was listed as Nikki ASH’s opponent in order to cover for LeRae.

Doudrop was listed as Nikki ASH’s opponent, to cover for Candice LeRae’s return.

We will have to wait and see how Candice LeRae will be booked in the coming weeks on Monday Night RAW. If anything, she is joining the company during a very interesting time.
