The injury scare coming out of WWE RAW had fans worried—but Liv Morgan just gave an update, and it changes the situation.

After reports noted that both Morgan and Roxanne Perez were placed in concussion protocol following a brutal head collision on the April 6 episode, there was real concern that WrestleMania 42 plans could be thrown into chaos. Now, Morgan has addressed it directly—and she’s making it clear she’s not going anywhere.

Speaking to ESPN on April 15, 2026, Morgan was asked about the visible damage from the incident and how she’s actually feeling after the hit. Morgan then made it clear that despite the injury, she’s still in position for her WrestleMania match against Stephanie Vaquer.

“I’m doing so much better than I’m looking—thank you for asking. I think that people who accuse wrestling of being fake are ill-informed. You cannot fake this bruising. You cannot fake this swelling. But I’m doing well—and Stephanie Vaquer is so lucky that I’m still pretty.”

After fears that the Women’s World Championship match could be in jeopardy, this update points to Morgan still being on track for WrestleMania 42—despite the collision and the aftermath. What looked like a potential disaster just a week ago now seems to be stabilizing, at least when it comes to Morgan’s status, especially since she also had a huge brawl with Vaquer during the April 13th edition of Raw.

Do you think Liv Morgan can still beat Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42 after everything that happened, or does this give Stephanie Vaquer the edge? Let us know your thoughts.
