Wardlow Possibly Injured During AEW Grand Slam

Wardlow is definitely one of the more popular homegrown stars in AEW today. With him being the current TNT Champion and being on Dynamite regularly, it is likely he will be a World Champion one day. Sadly, he might have experienced an injury during Rampage Grand Slam.

Mr. Mayhem has been on a roll for the past several months and even became the TNT Champion after defeating Scorpio Sky. Since then, he has been unstoppable as the champion.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Wardlow appeared hurt during AEW Rampage Grand Slam, possibly suffering a leg injury of sorts. The good news is he was able to make it through the angle.

Wardlow appeared to be hurt. I don’t know how serious. He appeared to have a leg injury, but he did come back and do all the powerbombs on Mark Sterling.

We will have to wait and see how Wardlow will be booked in the coming months. Hopefully, he didn’t suffer any major injury and will be able to compete at a high level.
