The Elite and CM Punk got into a brawl backstage over the latter’s insulting remarks during the post-All Out scrum. Tony Khan brought in third party to investigate the matter and stripped several performers in the wake of the brawl. However, it was too late as the word had already gotten out.

Reports from the post-All Out brawl made their way to WWE as well, and numerous WWE stars criticized Punk for his unprofessional conduct. WWE seemingly took a shot at AEW for The Elite versus CM Punk and Ace Steel fiasco during SmackDown this week.

Michael Cole talked about Ronda Rousey’s actions from last week’s SmackDown and WWE’s response to it. Cole said Rousey was punished “internally” for her actions and the results couldn’t be made public because Adam Pearce couldn’t keep his mouth closed.

“I have been told that Ronda Rousey has been disciplined internally and the results will not be made public. Sources have told me this, WWE official Adam Pearce has gotten carried away, he’s aired the dirty laundry publicly, hence the reason this investigation was taken behind the scenes with Ronda.”
