Ronda Rousey went ballistic after losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship rematch to Liv Morgan at SummerSlam on July 30th, 2022. Rousey was fined and suspended for attacking the referee after the match. The Baddest Woman on the Planet caused quite a scene during a previous episode of SmackDown as well.
Rousey was featured on SmackDown last week in a segment with Adam Pearce. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion asked Pearce to tell the crowd that she had been cleared to compete by the WWE management. She told Pearce to kiss her behind as well.
Pearce snapped and told Rousey he had enough of her bullying antics. The WWE authority figure called Rousey a bitch as well, prompting Rousey to slam him and put him in an arm bar. Michael Cole noted on SmackDown tonight that Rousey was punished “internally” for her actions.
Rousey won the fatal five-way match on SmackDown this week to earn a title shot against SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. The two will run it back at Extreme Rules on October 8th, 2022.
