Pat McAfee brought tremendous energy to SmackDown with his enthusiastic play-by-play call. McAfee developed an amazing chemistry with Michael Cole as well. Tonight, he was replaced by a familiar face.

McAfee signed a new deal with ESPN and had to take break from SmackDown because of that. WWE brought in Corey Graves as a replacement for McAfee tonight on SmackDown.

Pat McAfee will be joining ESPN’s ‘College Game’ broadcast full-time starting this Saturday in Austin, Texas from the Alabama vs. Texas match. Corey Graves will fill in for McAfee during his break from SmackDown.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H gave huge props to Pat McAfee as well. The Game said McAfee approached WWE about his new gig and the company couldn’t say no to that.
