Tommaso Ciampa dropped the NXT Championship to Bron Breakker before his full-time move to the main roster. Ciampa returned to NXT 2.0 tonight to give a prep talk to Breakker.

Ciampa appeared during a backstage segment with Breakker. Ciampa held the championship belt and told Breakker he represents NXT and must unify the titles at Worlds Collide.

Breakker had a brief interaction with two-time NXT Champion Finn Balor during the earlier moments of the show as well. The 24-year-old will square off with Tyler Bate in a title versus title match at Worlds Collide this Sunday.

Bate, on the other hand, was given a prep talk but former NXT UK Champions Pete Dunne and Gunther, both of whom told the Big Strong Boi to unify the titles at Worlds Collide. Ricochet also showed up to challenge Carmelo Hayes for the NXT North American Title at Worlds Collide. Doudrop and Nikki ASH also returned to challenge for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Worlds Collide takes place on Sunday, September 4th. The premium live event is set to feature multiple unification bouts. Ringside News will have the complete coverage of the show.
