WWE announced the launch of NXT Europe and that brought a lot of excitement and tension. The promotion also released many NXT UK superstars from their contracts. Now they’re heading for a unification.

Bron Breakker opened this week’s episode of NXT 2.0. Breakker talked about his successful title defense against JD McDonagh at NXT Heatwave last week and called out NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate to the ring.

Bate arrived and hyped the arrival of NXT Europe before proposing a title unification match between him and Breakker, who agreed and noted that Worlds Collide would be the perfect place to do that.

Worlds Collide will signal the end of NXT UK as the brand will undergo a hiatus after that event. Superstars from both NXT 2.0 and NXT UK are set to work the premium live event.
