WWE has a lot of things going, and you never know who will pop up next. It turns out that Triple H and his crew have a special guest in store this week, because JBL will be in the house.

JBL is a WWE Hall of Famer, and rightfully so. After a storied career, winning multiple championships along the way, he can now look back at the legacy he left in the ring. JBL was also slated to be used in some capacity at the tapings.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that JBL will be on SmackDown this week. It was not noted what the WWE Hall of Famer will be up to.

Former WWE Champion JBL was also slated to be used in some capacity at the tapings. JBL has appeared on and off for WWE for years after retiring from in-ring action in 2009.

JBL stopped competing in ring action in 2009. Since then, he has intermittently made appearances for WWE. It’s always great to see him around, because he’s still a natural on kickoff shows or wherever they can book him to appear.

JBL is deemed as ruthless bully by some coworkers and other talent. During his WWE tenure, many of his coworkers, including Blue Meanie, Charles Robinson, The Miz, and AEW’s Justin Roberts, accused him for being too aggressive. However, The Godfather refuted the wrestlers’ claims.

JBL recently talked about Roman Reigns’ current heel character. He explained why Reigns isn’t typical pure heel but is more of an entertaining heel, like DX. Let’s see if JBL is used in WWE somewhere down the line.
