JBL is deemed as a ruthless bully by coworkers and other talent. During his WWE tenure, many of his coworkers, including Blue Meanie, Charles Robinson, The Miz, and AEW’s Justin Roberts, accused him for being too aggressive. However, The Godfather refuted the wrestlers’ claims.

During an episode of Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast, Godfather gave an uncompressed opinion of JBL. He contends JBL is obeying old-school rules that are no longer acceptable in today’s pro wrestling. Something he thinks “modern-day kids” won’t fully understand.

“What he is, is an old-school wrestler that was taught by old-school wrestlers, and he had that mentality. The modern-day kids and people growing up were changing, and they didn’t understand that, but he, by no means, was no bully. He just lived by locker room rules that were old-school rules. Those rules are gone now.”

JBL’s bullying rap sheet appears to contain both true and false allegations. Throughout his career, JBL portrayed a harsh villain who was unafraid of controversy. From high-profile feuds with Rey Myesterio, John Cena, Eddie Guerrero, to Shawn Michael’s. Bradshaw’s brash attitude won’t always appeal to all.
