Kris Statlander is certainly one of the mainstays of the AEW women’s division as she has worked hard to gain fanfare in the company. Statlander previously had a paranormal gimmick and was billed as coming from the Andromeda Galaxy. She also provided a timetable for her recovery.

It was announced on AEW Dynamite last week Kris Statlander suffered an injury and was subsequently pulled from the AEW Women’s rankings. The injury happened very recently as well.

While speaking on AEW’s Road to West Virginia YouTube special, Kris Statlander talked about her injury. Statlander revealed that she will be out of action for 6-8 months.

“So, recovery time is about 6-8 months. Once we had the MRI, we were hoping it’d just be a meniscus tear; that would have kept me out for 3 months at the most. But now that we know the ACL is torn, it could be 6-8 months. Hopefully closer to 6, considering I know what I have to do. I’ve done this before.

“I came back biger and stronger the last time, and I’m going to use this opportunity to do that one more time — because fall down two times, get up three,” Statlander said with a thumbs up gesture. “I’m just trying to stay positive, gotta make the jokes — it’s the only way to do it.”

Statlander previously suffered an ACL injury in June 2020 and was out of action until April 2021. We wish Statlander a speedy recovery and hope she returns sooner rather than later.
