Raquel Rodriguez Hopes She Can Reunite With Dakota Kai On The WWE Main Roster

Raquel Rodriguez was one of the highlights of NXT television, where she went on to become the NXT Women’s Champion. She helped mold the women’s division in the developmental brand as well. Rodriguez also hopes to reunite with Dakota Kai eventually on the main roster.

Rodriguez was eventually called up to the main roster on Friday Night SmackDown. Before that, her name was changed as well. This is something she tried to fight against as well.

During her time in NXT, she was in a tag team with Dakota Kai as well until Kai turned on her, and they began feuding for the NXT Women’s Championship. While speaking at the WrestleMania 39 launch party at SoFi Stadium, Raquel Rodriguez made it clear she is happy to see Dakota Kai back in WWE since SummerSlam and hopes to reunite with Dakota Kai in the future.

“I’m so excited and happy for her because she is an absolute superstar. The things that girl does and the way that she just moves and walks with confidence. I learned so much from her just by being under her wing for so long. You know what, I mean, she’s been just a big part of my career as well. So seeing her on ‘Raw’ just makes me absolutely happy. Am I a little bit sad that she’s not on ‘SmackDown?’ Yes, but you know what she’s out there, and she’s killing it. Maybe somewhere down the road, we will reunite at some point. I hope.”

We will have to wait and see whether Raquel Rodriguez and Dakota Kai will be on the same brand somewhere down the line or not. For the time being, that does not seem likely.
