Sasha Banks and Naomi infamously walked out of WWE when things didn’t favor their position in the company. However, with Vince McMahon gone and WWE primed to make big changes, they’re reportedly coming back once again to reclaim their stake.

Dave Meltzer appeared on Sunday Night’s Main Event and confirmed that The Boss and The Glow have agreed on a return to WWE. Meltzer provided a further timeline on their return.

Naomi and Sasha Banks’ contract signing still remains to be mysterious. Their return could be scheduled on their on terms. Meltzer added that they want to leverage how well their return will make waves, and how long will the impact last.

They may have already signed by now, but a week ago, [I was told] they’re back. It could be tomorrow, it could be in a couple of weeks. It’s whatever day they want. They are probably pacing things. You don’t want to show all your cards in week 1 (after Triple H taking over). You want to have something big to talk about every week for the next couple of weeks. An agreement in principle was reached over a week ago.

WWE announced a tournament to crown new Women’s Tag Team Champions during SmackDown. That seems like a perfect time for The Glow and The Boss to swoop in and gain the high ground.

Naomi and Banks might not instantly appear at the tournament, but enter a feud with the winners. With Triple H in charge of creative, the status of other stars is also bound to change.
