WWE Adds SmackDown Women’s Title Match To Clash At The Castle

WWE announced Clash at the Castle in April 2022. The company will be heading back to the United Kingdom in 30 years. The premium live event will take place inside the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. WWE booked another match for the stadium show during SmackDown this week.

Tonight’s SmackDown featured a gauntlet match to determine the challenger for Liv Morgan’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash as the Castle. Raquel Rodriguez, Xia Li, Shotzi, Natalya, Shayna Baszler, Aliyah, and Sonya Deville squared off for the opportunity.

Shayna Baszler won the match after she pinned Raquel Rodriquez via a roll up. The Queen of Spades will face Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash at the Castle on September 3rd. You can read the lineup announced (so far) below.
