WWE will be returning to the UK in nearly 30 years for a huge premium live event. The promotion last hosted a stadium show in the United Kingdom in 1992. Clash at the Castle takes place at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on September 3.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship is set to be defended in the UK. The challenger was finally revealed on SmackDown this week. Sheamus and Drew McIntyre collided for the number one contender spot in an Irish Donnybrook Match.

The two competitors nearly took each other to their limits. Ridge Holland and Butch tried to sabotage McIntyre’s attempt to become the next challenger to Roman Reigns.

The Scottish Warrior won the match after hitting a huge claymore to Sheamus. McIntyre will now challenge the winner of the Last Man Standing Match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

Clash at Castle could be WWE’s biggest event in years. The promotion has already sold over 60,000 tickets for premium live event.  It looks like the house will be rocking when the big event finally rolls around.
