Paige Believes She Has A ‘Built-In Storyline’ To Wrestle Sasha Banks Again

Paige had a tremendous career in WWE, being one of the most gifted female stars in NXT. She eventually won the Divas Championship as well, but her career was cut short after an accident in the ring. She also believes a match against Sasha Banks might just happen.

Paige had to retire after she was kicked from the back by Sasha Banks during 2017 WWE MSG show. Paige then worked in a variety of roles in WWE until she eventually parted ways with the company last year. This is because WWE didn’t re-sign her contract.

While speaking during Starrcast V, Paige was asked how she feels about facing Britt Baker. Paige also stated that she believes a match against Sasha Banks has a built-in story in order to make her WWE return.

“I would love it. I would love to face her [Britt Baker]. There are a few people I’d love to be in the ring with. If I were to ever come back I’d love to face Sasha [Banks] because we have a built-in storyline, and she’s a fantastic wrestler. I’d love to face Britt Baker, she’s incredible. I still have to be careful, I have that mind block right now, but eventually, for the right time and right person, I’ll definitely have a match again.”

Paige also doesn’t blame Sasha Banks for her career-ending injury. We’ll have to see what the future holds for Paige. Perhaps fans might get to see her in a pro wrestling ring soon enough.
