Max Caster of The Acclaimed has become a fan favorite in AEW. This is largely due to his impressive rapping ability and solid in-ring skills. John Cena also came from a similar rapping gimmick, and he reacted to Caster mentioning Vince McMahon’s retirement on AEW Dynamite this week.

The Acclaimed squared off against The Gunn Club in a tag team dumpster match. Prior to the match, Max Caster did his usual pre-match rap and mentioned Vince McMahon retiring.

“No filter, I ain’t Instagram,

“We’ll make the Ass Boys retire like Vince McMahon.”

It did not take long for John Cena to react to the bar, as he took to Instagram and uploaded a photo of Max Caster. Earlier this year, John Cena stated that he does not think he could beat Max Caster in rap battle.

Max Caster also stated that John Cena had been very nice to him when he didn’t need to be. He eventually welcome the comparisons to The Doctor Of Thuganomics as well. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for The Acclaimed.
