Vince McMahon’s retirement was covered by mainstream media. The 77-year-old stepped away from WWE amid an investigation into multiple sexual misconduct allegations and named Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as CEO’s.

AEW took a major shot at Vince McMahon’s retirement during Dynamite this week. The Acclaimed took on the Gunn Club in a dumpster match on Dynamite. Max Caster dissed Billy Gunn’s sons by saying they’ll retire them like Vince McMahon.

“We make the Ass Boys retire like Vince McMahon!”

WWE themselves made a mockery of Vince McMahon’s retirement during the first Raw of post-Vince era. Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns both made subtle mentions of their former boss’s retirement.
