Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne were at the top of the women’s tag team division on NXT 2.0 until they were dethroned by Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. The young stars won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship four weeks ago. Then the titles were vacated, but they didn’t remain that way for long.

Cora Jade turned on Roxanne Perez during her NXT Women’s Championship match against Mandy Rose. Jade then trashed the title and made it clear that she was done being the tag champion.

WWE held a fatal four-way tag team elimination match to determine the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion on the August 2nd edition of NXT 2.0. Yulisa Leon and Valentina Leon were the first to be eliminated.

Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley suffered the same fate. The duo was eliminated by former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter became the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.

WWE has previously announced that Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley versus Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne versus Katana Chance and Kayden Carter versus Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz will open this week’s NXT 2.0.
