Cora Jade Trashes NXT Women’s Tag Team Title

Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship from Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne at NXT: The Great American Bash. The young stars posed with the legendary Shawn Michaels after their big win. That being said, Cora Jade really had quite a message to send this week.

Jade soon revealed her intentions as she turned on Perez during her NXT Women’s Championship match against Mandy Rose last week on NXT 2.0. The young star said it had always been about her after her heel turn.

The heel turn surprised fans and WWE stars alike. Perez was heartbroken after Jade showed her true colors. Nikkita Lyons confronted Jade on social media. Bayley said Jade “broke her heart” after what she did to Perez.

Jade was on NXT 2.0 this week to reveal why she turned on her best friend. Jade came to the ring with the women’s tag belt and cut a mean heel promo before she thrashed Perez for being the breakout star. She then threw the belt in a garbage can at ringside.

WWE had always planned for Jade to turn heel and it wasn’t last minute decision. Things have certainly got interesting now that Jade has trashed the championship belt. Keep reading Ringside News for more.
