Roxanne Perez Is Heartbroken After Cora Jade Betrayed Her On WWE NXT 2.0

Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade were best friends and won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles from Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. Their partnership didn’t last long as Jade turned on Perez this week.

Perez cashed-in her NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament contract against NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose this week on NXT 2.0. The breakout star, however, failed to capture the title because of Cora Jade.

Perez took to Twitter after the shocking heel turn of her best friend and expressed her emotions. The young NXT star tweeted a six-word response for the internet wrestling community to see.

Logging off & crying tonight goodbye

Perez was jumped before her big match against Rose. She is emotionally devastated. Even Jade’s signature skateboard wanted no part of the heel turn. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for her.
