AEW have been looking to introduce a trios title for quite some time. The company has a lot of championships. It introduced the All-Atlantic Championship two months ago. The promotion officially confirmed the arrival of its trios title this week on Dynamite.

AEW announced the first-ever World Trios Champions will be crowned in the finals of the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament at the All Out pay-per-view event on September 4th.

It was previously reported that AEW has plans in place for Omega and The Bucks to team up for a six-man tag team program for the All Out pay-per-view on September 4th.

Tony Khan had hinted that trios titles were coming to AEW at some point. Several factions and trios groups have already formed. AEW regularly features these contests on TV.
