WWE SummerSlam is always set up to be one of the biggest events of the year. This edition will take place on July 30 from the massive Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. With well over 30,000 fans expected to be in attendance, the expectation is for WWE to put its best foot forward.

Many fans have been less than thrilled with the build toward the show. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will battle in last man standing main event for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Four other title matches and two celebrity matches are also on the card.

According to WrestleVotes, those who put together the current SummerSlam card aren’t too excited about it, either. A WWE source said that they dislike what has been booked. It seems strange coming from the very people who are promoting the show.

“In the most WWE of ways, I had a source tell me this morning “they really don’t like the SummerSlam card”

“They” being the people who put it together. Um, what?!”

WWE still has some time to make tweaks to the card if they are unhappy. Adding or changing some things could spur ticket sales to the event. It will be very interesting to see how similar today’s card looks compared to July 30. You can check out the full current SummerSlam card below.
