Sammy Guevara Says He Can Challenge For TNT Title Again

Sammy Guevara was extremely over as the AEW TNT Champion until he went public with his relationship with Tay Conti. Guevara lost the title to Scorpio Sky in an insane ladder match in April 2022. The match stipulation barred Guevara from challenging for the title as long as Sky was the champion.

Sky would end up losing the title to Wardlow in a Street Fight on AEW Dynamite this week. Mr. Mayhem showed insane agility as he pulled off a massive Swanton Bomb. Wardlow ended the match with a Powerbomb Symphony, becoming the new TNT Champion in the process.

Guevara was watching the match and tweeted that he could challenge for the title now that Sky is no longer the champion. The former TNT champion posted a picture of himself with three straps, saying that he would once again be the champion.

Guevara is currently a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society. The Spanish God reunited with The Wizard on an episode of Dynamite from June. We’ll have to wait and see if Guevara manages to become four-time TNT Champion. Keep reading Ringside News for more!
