Chris Jericho took on Ortiz, and the St. Louis crowd was pumped to sing Judas as The Wizard made his way to the ring. This was quite an opening contest as the Jericho Appreciation Society and his former allies battled.

Eddie Kingston jumped in the the ring during a massive melee on the outside to hit the backfist. Then Ortiz got a near fall. In the end, Fuego Del Sol turned heel for no reason and hit Ortiz with a bat to help Jericho win the match.

Fuego Del Sol and the Jericho Appreciation Society appeared to have a new team. The announcers and St. Louis crowd was rather confused by this until the masked wrestler unveiled himself to be Sammy Guevara. Now The Spanish God is back and he’s a member of Jericho’s faction as a heel.

Ortiz was a man of his word and he shaved his head in the middle of the ring. The whole time he cried out, “Blood and Guts!”
