Sasha Banks and Naomi’s status with WWE has become a little clearer. After a lot of speculation about where they stand with the company, an interesting detail has emerged. Banks and Naomi are no longer listed on WWE’s internal rosters.

There have been several reports that Sasha Banks & Naomi were released by the company. Ringside News exclusively reported that their status was in the hands of attorneys. That was later confirmed by Andrew Zarian, who noted that terms were being worked out by Sasha’s lawyers.

WWE continued to list Banks and Naomi on their internal rosters. Now, Mike Johnson of PW Insider has reported that this is no longer the case. While nothing has been officially confirmed by the company, the move was made in the last 24 hours.

“While there has been no official indication they have been released, PWInsider.com can confirm that both Sasha Banks and Naomi were removed from WWE’s Internal roster over the last 24 hours.”

Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on WWE after they became unhappy with their booking as the Women’s Tag Team Champions. WWE suspended both without pay and called their conduct unprofessional. A groundswell of fan support has emerged in the interim.

It may only be a matter of time before WWE officially announces the release of Sasha Banks and Naomi. The removal of both from the internal roster list signifies a big step in the process. Eventually, the company will have to give fans some kind of official word.
