Warner Brothers Discovery announced that Punk will be a part of the AEW panel at the San Diego Comic-Con next month. The panel has been dubbed “AEW: Heroes & Villains” and will also feature Jade Cargill and Bryan Danielson among others.

Punk was originally scheduled to defend his title against Hiroshi Tanahashi at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event this past Sunday. Jon Moxley ended up taking Punk’s spot and won the interim AEW World Championship at the event.
