Warner Brothers Discovery announced that Punk will be a part of the AEW panel at the San Diego Comic-Con next month. The panel has been dubbed “AEW: Heroes & Villains” and will also feature Jade Cargill and Bryan Danielson among others.

Punk was originally scheduled to defend his title against Hiroshi Tanahashi at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event this past Sunday. Jon Moxley ended up taking Punk’s spot and won the interim AEW World Championship at the event.

Though Punk has successfully gone under the knife, he has yet to receive the medical clearance from doctors for his return to AEW. We’ll have to wait and see when that happens.
